Functional Programming Haiku

I have a love for writing Haiku. A Haiku is a traditional Japanese poem, consisting of seventeen total syllables in three lines with the syllabic pattern of five-seven-five. They typically evoke imagery of nature, but these Haiku will be about functional programming.
